I agree, except for one thing - we haven't had those things 'all along'. I am old enough to remember when we had none of that malarkey, and our foods were simple. The human race has come a long way eating real, naturally nutrient dense food. You're right, we need to not buy it, the problem is...
No, actually, it is Caucasian women that are having fewer children, the statistics are out there - somewhere, I'll find them if you want. I get Trim's point, but it's not something that anything can be 'done' about. I too lament the decision to have everyone in the workforce leaving the child...
People, we need to disagree without being disagreeable. We also need to realize we all come from different directions and have different thoughts on matters - rather than berate, educate. It's the only way we'll win in the end.
There was ergophene ointment that was used as a drawing salve, but I can't find it anymore, and it worked well.
I went on a google adventure and found an interesting link: clicky and sources. There's a how to make your own' recipe here, but I like the old fashioned black salve the best...
Fish oil does not belong in milk. The omega 3s should come naturally via the cow's diet. Anything else really is constructed food, or frankenfood. To accept fish oil in milk just gives them license to manipulate other foodstuffs. I'm sick and tired of the industrial food stream being...
That quake was felt down in Massachusetts, some buildings in Boston were evacuated (they're a bunch of ninnies in there!). I was in Jaffrey, NH and didn't notice a thing. What time did it happen?
I've already mentioned the Christmas cookies, I make many, many batches of various kinds. It's so easy to whip up a batch of Oatmeal Banana Bread (my favorite recipe), or anything else, I rarely take out my hand mixer anymore.
The attachments work on all of them, as far as I know.
I didn't mind paying it, considering the cost of the other attachments, and I really wasn't happy with the lack of mixing that little bit down next to that bump on the bottom of the bowl, and how much scraping by hand I had to do with the...
Absolutely, it does great with bread dough. Nothing slows it down. It's not the same as the one they sell everywhere, I think it's $399 - I got it for Christmas two years ago. It is well worth it if you use a stand mixer a lot.
That's the mixer I have. It has a six quart bowl and the largest motor they make. It purrs through the Christmas cookie dough, I couldn't make the cookies without it anymore, my hand strength is gone because of the arthritis. Greg bought me the grinder attachment, and a couple of others, I...
Rebecka, don't be intimidated by anyone in those beekeeping forums, they truly are a wonderful, friendly bunch who just want to help you succeed in beekeeping - but the beeks here can help you, too :)
Kev, I'm no doctor, but I do know something about Lyme treatment, my son also had it back when he was 12 - that was over 13 years ago. Amoxicillin won't do it. It really won't. I wish you luck with it, and I hope you can convince the doctor to put you on the doxycycline, because that is the...
