Busy day trying to get ready for this cold crap that's coming. I was quite ok having a mild winter - didn't need this mess at all! Filled up all the empty gas cans this morning I now have over 50 gallons of gasoline in case I need to feed the generator. Hope I don't need a drop of it...

Well Boo! Texans lost today. I hate to say it - but they deserved to. Not sure what happened to them. The weather was horrible, we had injuries in some major players and our quarterback seems to have lost his mojo. Darn shame - but there's always next year! Pulled some turnips for dinner...

I hope so! This team has so much talent and heart that they deserve good things! We love our Texans for sure. It got cold overnight. I doubted my weather stations temp reading when I woke up - but there's plenty of ice out there to make me think it wasn't so far off. Full on sun this...

After going outside I'm not so sure my weather station was far off in it's estimation of temperature. There was ice everywhere! Don't think that ice would have had time to form if we barely hit freezing right before sunrise. I can doubt it's accuracy - but I can't doubt the ice buildup!

Take a day off! We got cold overnight but my weather app and my home weather station are arguing about it. One says 33 - the other says 24. I'm thinking that my home weather app is a weather wuss like me and thinks it's colder than it is!
