I keep some in the camper (which I hope to quit using) and on the fridge in the house. I also keep a lot of matches in the camper and used to in the house, more for the bathroom though:hide:lol:. If power goes out here it would only help us watch LESS tv...
Welcome,
Each is different. You have to learn each one along with the insulation of your house, as to how to regulate it. My house is %90-%95 wood. A propane wall unit in the bathroom helps with the really cold days or when the fire gets low, AND when you get out of the shower.
I've gone...
Good mornin all. Have a blessed day.
You were paying much more attention to that pic than me. I had to go take another look at it.
Unless he recently took Romeo to the local dairy queen.
Well I'll hold off as long as I can for that. Thanks anyway bay.
Darn spell check. I'm about coffee'd out now anyway, so I'll leave what I know you meant for everyone else needing a cup.
Another reason Crafstman is good. I knew a guy who would buy craftsman tools at pawn shops and exchange them for new one's at Sears. They held to their warranties. Shame to not see them anymore. At least a lot less of them. They used to make a great tool box level. I go through several...
Looks like 4 hives to a pallet. So a dozen. They say most places that have flowers of some sort all summer can handle up to 30 hives to an apiary. But those 12 is enough to do you and any tree's around (within 2 miles) a world of good.
Probably a good thing. If you had more it may hinder the overall production of the other hives depending on how many they have and the environment. Plus you get pollination and don't have to mess with any hives.
Good to know. I should try it. I usually just wipe the webs out of my way...
With a little editing it's the same forecast here. ;) Actually it's a pretty cool summer so far. Heat index over 110 but not every day and the actual temps are not that high with added index's. Just missing that 6" more of rain we didn't get March-May.
I remember framing houses at...
I've been up for 4 hours and haven't hit a real lick yet. Already hot here. Low 80's for the lows with the dew point in the 70's.
I guess I better get a move on.
If your interested in beekeeping, throwing a swarm trap up could be a good way to get started. If the beekeeper has inhabited hives not just a pile. Sooner or later one of the hives will swarm. Sooner (earlier in the year) is better. Also if? it is just a stock pile you could assemble one in...
Just checking. And telling any random reader. You know how some people are. While I was at a friends house the other week he kept complaining about all the bee's. I was exited because I have a swarm trap there. Then I noticed what he called a bee, anything that flew. Hornet, spider wasp...
I often have that in the incubator. The first broody hatch (with eggs added at different later dates) had a hen try to help the last few days and the helper mom hatched one more (that the first hen might have if left alone). Also they had different laid dates therefore can vary the hatch date...
Love it. It's actually cooler here this month than normal. Had a friend say the other day, I like this global warming.... I mean climate change. It's much nicer summer's than it was in the 70's- 80's and better winter's except for a few days a year.
