Was your door locked??? Deadbolts? If not I'd sure check into that. Less expensive than a fence. I'm OCD about doors being locked before bed. Last time I had bump in night, it was a goat on the porch 🫨

Had a couple chicken breasts too many from the canning....soooo, chicken dinner! Braised some chunks, removed & sauted onion & garlic. Added a pint of home canned chicken broth, then rice. Let rice almost finish, added chicken back in. Tossed some frozen peas on top. Shortly after about 5-6...

Have 7 qts of chicken breast cooling. They're all sealed & will spend a week on my counter, so I know no seals didn't. Really prefer pints but, wasn't buying more now. Just have to choose between PT or qt when opening -- knowing I'll need to plan use ahead of time. Last batch was pints 👍...
