The beef vegetable soup is outstanding. The roasted bone broth, simmered for 36 hours in a big roaster is sooooo creamy to the mouth feel. Before eating, I added some heated previously canned white potatoes. 😋

Other memories... Christmas Eve - Church had candlelight service that we would attend, beautiful memory. Afterwards, we would drive around viewing home displays in town. Would get home and have mom's homemade pizza and Pepsi (still sold in bottles). In bed by 11 or so. Still enjoy driving...

6 degrees this morning, about 8 inches of snow. Took me an hour to clear the drive

Butterfinger puppy chow does not make the snow more easy to deal with Rice chex, chocolate, peanut butter, and crushed butterfinger bars in powdered sugar

No chickens because didn't want the daily hassle. Yet here I was, in 13 degree winds and snow, filling up all of the bird feeders. Yeah....

Went through my other recently arrived seed catalogs. Resisted the urge to splurge. Plenty to do already. The little watermelon like cukes might be good for pickling, but, as before, I need a containment strategy. You all know where this is headed, right? 😀
