    Hubby told me that singing "When the Levee Breaks" is inappropriate. It's been stuck in my head for a week. Heavy rain tends to do that to me. It wasn't my fault and they've patched the levee with a lot of big sandbags that should hold until flooding slows and more permanent repairs can be made.

    Stream is about 60 feet from the edge of the tall grass to left. It's overflowed. About 40 feet into the short grass I mow. Water runs about 200 feet in a low laying area there. Water is about up to my knees by the grass. Made for a pretty picture.

    I was told it was for sitka by a friend of hubby. Looks like they were very wrong. I went and looked it up. Rule restriction is for the Columbia whitetail which are protected. Im more used to mule deer from the east side of the state or the blacktails that annoy us here.
