i hate cleaning so much that i had breakfast and went back to sleep and then when i woke up i laid there for an hour pretending i was asleep so i wouldn't have to get up. to put an end to the shenanigans i just got up and told myself i am not cleaning today so at least i can do something else...

at one time i met that guy. back in the ages when we used to have gatherings of usenet/internet friends that would meet in different areas just to have fun, cook, talk in person and do touristy things. the rise of f*b*k pretty much killed off those things for me as so many people left to go...

not really. i encourage her to wear a hat as it does really help to be warmer.

and Mom keeps commenting upon how i can eat cold food, but perhaps it's just being safer? :) (and has nothing to do with not caring to warm something up because i'm hungry and there it is so just eat it already? nahhh....? :) )

all this warm weather is going to melt all the snow (which isn't much at this point but at least it is white and bright instead of gray, brown and bits of green...). and speaking of bits of green there are bits of green all over the place from the deer eating the cedar trees and digging down...

i did a lot of caulking of cracks and foam filling of some gaps and that really did help. i used to feel drafts in my room when the wind blew and now i don't. so over the years since i did it it has probably paid for itself already. there's a lot of edges to our siding...

will be making some grilled cheese and grilled cheese with ham for us and some other people this morning. i guess it's not quite dinner but it is more like dinner for breakfast or brunch... :)

we did make it to the predicted 39F today. i should take a screen shot for the records because it might be the first time this century that they got the temperature right a week in advance...

tomorrow's forecast for us is a mess this night but then warming up tomorrow to almost 40F. we'll see if that actually happens... this morning's jaunt to the curb to drop off the trash and recycling it was 7F with windchill -3F, but a good scarf takes care of that for me so it's ok.
