So, the deer have been non-existent the past few weeks, really since December, lots of roadkill about 2 miles away and saw only a single set of tracks about 1/2 mile down the road today. Seriously considering planting some cukes and melons without netting in the spring.

Has anyone here grown cucamelons? I think I would like to pickle some. My fear is they would be bite size snacks for whatever deer show up.
I spoke too soon, woke up this morning to a multitude of deer track paths all over the back yard. Lots of traffic around the garden beds

Very concerned that this bitter cold is going to kill off my fig tree I planted last year. Getting even more impatient for spring

I had good luck with this company

Sure hope not. Mine has survived the worst our winters can throw at us - but still nothing like what you're dealing with.

Sprouting/microgreen seeds arrived the other day. I soaked some last night and will get them started this morning. I'm kinda excited, lol!
