Thanks, everyone. She is doing fine getting up to tend to her personal needs. Getting quality rest is an issue. Healing is going to take some time. I am the stern, but caring nurse. Lol.

Dusting of snow overnight, cold but sunny today. Decided to take a carload of cardboard to the township recycling on the way to the hospital this. Only 2-3 trips outstanding

Grass was covered with snow yesterday morning, melted off in the afternoon, covered again overnight. Snowing now

Saved a serving for lunch tomorrow, bagged up the rest and put in the freezer

Made some broccoli cheddar soup

Light snow has returned. The warm spell last week has spawned a lot of video on the various social media platforms of river ice breaking up and causing potential flooding concerns. It'll be a big mess if these flows don't clear out before it gets cold for a while again or heavy rains return...

We saw the son and DIL yesterday. Great time. Sent a tote of his stuff home with them. Still progress???? Lol The bitterly cold weather had me avoiding the cardboard recycling. Really need to get on that.

Broke the routine with a few pieces of bacon. I have link sausages and bacon pre cooked in freezer, so I can just pop in the microwave and heat up. Oh, and coffee, of course.

Almost 60 outside, took down the front Christmas lights after work. Flower bed was too muddy.

This week's warm weather has been eating at the snow. Driveway in good shape and can start to see patches of grass again. Odd thing- since it got warm, the birds have left the thistle feeder alone. Where I had to fill the feeders up every 3 days, the birds have barely touched them this week.
