one thing about Texas soil is its different everywhere. i have beach sand for a foot or so and then red clay. a few miles over its all a thick black soil thats sticky and heavy. a few miles the other way and theres white clay like stuff. i think maybe decompossed lime stone or something. my...

it takes skill to cut it by hand. hopefully ill get better with practice, but it still tastes good and the thicker cuts are better

when we grow corn in the garden i mulch it heavily with manure and compost several times. when i grow corn outside of the garden i also used a balanced fertilizer.

more potatoes. this time i used the walmart brand lids. they seem to be sealing. well see how it goes.

curious to see what happens. i didnt fertilize my onions at all this year and they are pretty big, but i do the back to eden thing and throw manure on top of the garden all winter too.

so we did as the directions said, soked the meat, dried it and bow my buddy has it in the smoker. i really hope its edible. it said the dry on a rack and well the oven rack is all i had. lol

there are 2 recipes. one is dehydrating scrambled (cooked) eggs and the other is dehydrating them raw. both get ran threw a blender afterwards. we tried cooking them. it was terrible.
