Prefolds = close with diapers or Snappi use a cover. The cover helps with leakage. Still not totally leak PROOF, but much better than nothing. You'll find you get quite used to baby pee and poop and spit up!

I have quite a bit experience in this. For my son, I made him fitted cloth diapers with snaps. I still have the pattern and extra snaps and the snap applicator. Let me know if you'd like it. I bought covers that were made of fleece. They worked OK, but you could feel the wetness coming...

I have the ball blue book. There are very few pressure canning recipes. Do you know what the deal is with adding pasta, rice or barley to soups???

I add compost every year. It's a mix of kitchen scraps, chicken poo/pine shavings, and rotted oak leaves.
