we got this new weed wacker because Mom wanted to use it. will she use it? no. i can go one charge with it at a time which is about an hour. if i am moving i can do most of what needs to get done in that hour. do i want to do it? no. does it get done? so far twice a year for trimming...

it just seems so wrong to me to have to wait for the frost to burn off before having to go out and mow... just wrong...

moodles of noodles and tomato chunks and cheesy potatoes (sometimes together). been pretty basic eats here and i'm quite ok with all of it. i think this weekend it is sloppy joes.

yes, that's the best approach, Mom has learned and we get along great, once in a while i have to remind her that everything she's telling me in the morning is likely not being heard or remembered. yes i can take it up a notch and be useful in an emergency but it's just not what i want to do in...

the assumption there which may be wrong is that i'm probably not quite people until some time after i'm awake. messing with me at that time is just not a great idea. i may have read that book some time in the past.

has she ever tried adzuki beans? i think they are similar in texture and flavor to lentils. i have yet to find many beans of many kinds that i don't like. :)

i grow as many bean plants as i can get planted and keep alive, not only for dry bean production but also for fresh and shelly beans. i also usually grow some peas. we cook a lot for other people so when i make beans i'm usually making 4-6 gallons of beans at a time. i can't usually grow...
