Does anyone have a good reference book about raising chickens? I will be raising them for meat and eggs. I had chickens as a child and can remember some things, but I would like a good book to fill in the blanks. Thanks in advance :)

I am reusing old ball Jars that has been sitting in my MIL cellar for nearly 20 years. However I need to replace all the rubber gaskets. Does anyone know a cheap place to buy these items? I really don't have much money to spend and plan on doing some serious canning this year.
