"Have fun??" :lau
Here's me, trying to safely catch and release ants: :weee LOL.
Too bad they don't make itty-bitty have-a-heart traps. :D
I wonder where I can get clove oil..... I actually really like the smell of cloves, so that's a win-win.
I just walked out into my kitchen and discovered a couple dozen TINY ants romping around all over my stove! I don't know where they came from, they showed up rather suddenly.
I am Buddhist, so I don't kill any living being. So since killing them is not an option, does anyone know what I can do...
Glad everyone likes the tip. Yesterday I put a batch out and it was raining. I want to stress the benefit of overcooking the bread. When it's somewhat hard, it really holds up well, even in the rain.
Farmer Denise, I love you! :hugs I received my kits today and just tested one out on a goose egg. I can't believe how much easier that was! No more blowing my brains out on those huge eggs! I wish it was a little more durable, it looks like it will wear out quickly, but I did take your advice...
It's really fun. I have fun doing with the wild birds, I can only imagine how fun it will be once my chicks are outside and awaiting my special treat. It makes me feel so "homey" even though there's really very little effort put into it.
My father came over to visit and saw some cakes cooling...
I'm not sure what you mean that "I can't have both". I already have the chickens, and I can't make the raccoons move away, so I don't think it's up to me.
I just need to figure out what measures to take to secure both chickens and trash the best way possible. There's lots of people who live in...
I would never kill an animal for any reason unless my life was at risk, so don't worry about that. And I don't see much point in relocating them because they'll always be more. I moved to the wilderness to be around nature and animals not to get rid of them. I just need to figure out how to...
I'm a first time chicken owner and my chicks are due to go out to the coop in a few weeks, so now between them and the trash I'm getting very nervous.
I will look into that product, thanks! I wonder if it really works.
Thanks! I have no children, so I spoil animals instead. I always love the look of them too, fresh out of the oven. They make the house smell great, and because there's no eggs and measuring, etc., it's really easy. I just love to go out and sit on the deck and watch them go crazy for it. They...
Really? How would they get into a shed? I plan to buy a brand new one with locking doors and no windows.
I thought of buying more cans but a bag or two fill them and getting several is expensive! That's my shed money, and I really need a shed bad, not just for trash but for other things.
I tried my best to find a good category for this. I'm going to buy a shed, but not for another week or two at least. I recently moved into a house in the woods with no outbuildings/sheds/garage whatsoever. My vehicle is a Jeep Wrangler and already has things stored in it.
I have a raccoon that...
I thought I'd post a pic of a small batch of banana bird bread I just made today. If I have more bananas I make them in bigger pans. This batch includes misc seeds, nuts, cranberries, and day old popcorn crushed up, along with corn bread mix and WW flour (and of course, the free bananas from the...
Let me preface this by saying that I do have and use my own cloth reusable grocery bags. But my ex did not and so when I moved of his house I used a ton of them as packing material. I thought it was pretty clever at the time, but now I have all his stupid bags! :he
I haven't wanted to throw...
Yeah, that's what I was thinking: flowers, sure. Herbs, um, ok, but I don't think I'd be showing them off and them offering them to anyone, lol.
I can hear it now: "Don't buy herbs from McNugget, they're really crappy...." :gig
Just teasing, I'm always for reusing anything I can!
So, okay, we all know to make banana bread with bruised bananas, but I recently thought of another way to use them.
Recently I was in my local small grocery store and I noticed a box of REALLY bruised bananas. Bruised isn't even the word, they were all pretty much black. I suppose some might be...
