Need Help with Road Trip/NYC Trip foods

At the end of the month, I'll be taking a 10 hour bus trip with DH and his high school band to NYC. I don't want to rely on fast food and vending machines while I'm there (for breakfast and in between meals). Though our hotel will have fridges/microwaves, we'll be gone from the hotel from...

    Unexpected Windfall!!

Yay!!! Way to go, sister!! :D I'd say, go with the thing that would make you the most excited. Forget about the most responsible thing for right now... you always go with that option usually. Go with the thing that you would dance a jig about when the package arrives in the mail. :D

Drying out oats after soaking without a dehydrator??

Great tip about the spoon! I've learned something that I thought I should share. Don't soak quick oats! LOL My favorite granola recipe calls for half rolled oats and half quick oats. The quick oats caused the soaking mixture to turn to wallpaper paste. It seized up and I couldn't even...

Diluting canned coconut milk for drinking?

Well, I don't dilute it when I use it for baking or making "ice cream" but I thought for straight drinking that it might be a bit rich. I'm going to open a can later and diluted little by little until it seems just about right. It's also a bit pricey straight out of the can.

Diluting canned coconut milk for drinking?

I was wondering if anyone knew how much I should dilute canned, full fat coconut milk if I'm going to use it with my cereal or just for drinking. Thanks! :D

    Relaxation/Calming CD recommendation?

Hello all! This is my first post. :D My sister, aggieterpkatie, told me about this forum. What a wealth of information! I am wondering if anyone had a recommendation for a great relaxation/calming CD. I have IBS that is pretty well controlled except for when I'm under a lot of stress. Next...
