So, living in Central Wisconsin, what does a family typically get in their CSA basket from you? Do you do just vegetables? Or do you do eggs, fresh bread and such?

My kids are school age (11 &16) and I think they need me to be home for them. I remember all of the trouble I got into when I was home alone (a lot) and I want to...

The thing that always comes to my mind is "the love of money is evil" And, why is it that being a stay at home Mom is something that is frowned upon nowadays? Really? Do people think that by a wife and/or Mother not working means that she is lazy and depends on her husband? Well, yes, my...

Yes, I have a garden now. Actually, I told hubby that I need his big strong arms :love to till me up some more space. That is a great idea. Resigning is going to be a hard one for me. I work in a very small office and my leaving would definatly cause a stir. I just cant do it anymore though...I cant stand taking orders from another man. Not that my husband gives me orders, I just think that I should be working...

I really appreciate all of the comments. I know that my son will be happier with me home rather than being by himself all day long. We are a little ways out of town, so it's not easy for him to hang out with friends. My plan was to quit by June when school is done, I think I will stick with that...

I know that a lot of you stay home and your spouse works out of the house. I would LOVE to be able to do that. Im just not sure how much longer I can stand this job. I feel terrible when my 11 yo has to stay home by himself on summer vacation. I hate the fact that Im too exhausted to get things...

    Duck with broken leg

Hi Dawn Yes, it works out very well. We have brought them in a couple of chickens that have died and they performed necropsies (sp?) on them to see what they died from. It proved very interesting! We have brought them live chickens (the most well behaved ones!) to practice x-rays on too.
