    It should be able to run up to 15-20hp generator. It would be more than enough for a house or small farm. I just finished it so haven't went beyond a 15hp motor. I think it will eat up about 20lbs of processed wood an hour. I process the wood to about 1- 1 1/2" blocks

    I finished my wood gasifier. This now means I can generate electricity with wood, run a log splitter and make useful hydraulic gadgets to increase production. My next project is to make a gasifier to run my truck.

    Britesea, I built 7 boxes 39"x75" that are 10-12" tall. I made them the size of twin beds so I can cover them if hail is in the forecast or the frost hits us early. I have a cat the patrols our yard constantly. She reminds us how well she is doing by leaving her victims at our doorstep...

    I am trying Kohlrabi, squash, cukes, Zucchini a variety of peppers, eggplant. This year is the first time I tried raised beds. I am new to the thought of self sufficiency. Although I participated in gardening and butchering when I was young.

    Hi woodchuck, I am just about to finish my wood gasifier. I have a donor lawn tractor to experiment with. Once I get it to run, I will try and apply some hydraulics and generator for it.

    Hello from New Mexico

    Visiting Truth or Consequences New Mexico is what gave me belief that self sufficiency is very doable. Although the climate is completely different than Minnesota, adjustments can be made.
