i signed up for a notice when lids came in on filmore containers--bulk and got one a couple of days ago, bulk package of 175 gold lids(regular) for $73.00, shipping was really high maybe because i also ordered some 26 oz jars and also some bands but still, i should be good for quite awhile on...
i've been thinking of trying this too, someone told me they use them over again as long as they don't don't bend the lids, and they're still nice and straight to reseal:idunno
my husband doesn't hunt, he never gets far away from me in case i need help (plus he hates to lose me in the stores, he has bad knees and its all he can do to keep up.
i'm good both on lids and new jars, not to mention what i will empty this year til the garden comes on again, had forgotten i had bought a bunch of one piece lids (like you buy can goods in the stores) supposedly can use them a bunch of time, haven't tried them yet
by the way, good morning everyone

we had 7 little piggies this past summer, was going to keep one for ourselves but i couldn't believe how many people wanted the kune-kunes, ended up selling them all within a week, had one lady call us from new york, so now we don't have one to butcher but thats ok, still have the last one in...
