1/2 gallon jar score!

I have been looking for 1/2 gallon mason jars for the longest time and they just aren't stocked anywhere around here. Then yesterday I found a case of 6 at Kroger for a little over 8 bucks! I was so excited. I don't use them for canning, just storage. And they might come in handy for milking in the future.
I can't believe Kroger had them.

I saw them the other day at our local grocer too-I was surprised.

If you have any Amish/Mennonite stores and/or Bulk food stores near you they usually carry them. Also Ace Hardware carries them usually.

Great find!!!! I have Food 4 Less that carries a lot of Kroger stuff. I wonder if it's the same thing?

I'll have to check.

Sometimes Kroger (called King Soopers in my neck of the woods) has some good stuff hiding in the isles. When I went to get a french coffee press I ended up getting one from Albertson's of all places.
