2 new additions to our family

WE got ds#2's 4h project saturday, a pair of porcelian D'Uccles. They are so cute & small compared to the other chickens. Ds is working on domesticating them & getting them used to being manhandled so to speak. The hen laid an egg on Sun., which really surprised me after driving down the interstate @ 75mph home. We had to drive down on the other side of Tucson to get them. I told him to let her sit on her eggs & maybe he can sell some to recoup the cost of the feed. He really is getting an assortment of pets, these 2, a duck & a ram.

Hmm...they were doing 75 down the highway! and are doing well......sound like quite the party d'uccles!!!

Thanks Wife, the only difference is our male has a little more tan on his wings. His name is Speedy & her name is Penny. I've never owned a bantam before, so this is a first for me.

Porcelain d'Uccles are on my list of wants. The d'Uccles are soooo friendly. Your son will love them!

Ooops, I got caught...but I have seen all the ferret pics and the goats...how did I miss the d'uccles???? I guess I better be a better friend in the future huh? I'm missing things I shouldn't be
