Pecking away. Today's piddling task. Put modular shelving in wasted space in the smaller master bedroom closet. Check that task off of the list.

Because rain is forecast tomorrow, yesterday I used topsoil I had to fill in the poorly backfilled trench left when the driveway guys put in a proper drain for the garage roof downspout. Did the dirt yesterday (was still very wet), let it dry out today. Smoothed out/tamped it down, put down seed and fertilizer tonight. Laid out and staked out the germination mat. All done with that, I will let the rain tomorrow water it.

The herbicide I applied to the driveway just decimated the sprouted greenery with today's heat. Have another small section to do after the next round of rain moves out.

More little things

Almost have the hay baled (all of the yard mowed once). Still soggy ground where the wet weather stream runs. Got the rest of the herbicide applied to the driveway. Ran a whole tank of fuel through the tractor. 4+ hours this morning before the heat got to me.

Did some trim painting yesterday, put a bookcase together, got the wife out of the house, and grabbed stuff for the ongoing task list.

Huge presentation tomorrow to the CIO and his team. Been working on the slide deck for three weeks
