Did you ever get any satisfaction from the original installer company? They sure were stingy on the gravel overlay.

Did not. A bit of that is my doing, as I had to remove 12 inches of gravel on the sides. Like driving through sand

Previous owners moved a small chicken coop/run thing back behind the shed. Been trying to decide whether to trash it or attempt to refurbish it. Neither! The wife mentioned it to the dad of the next door neighbors. He asked about this week, and I told him to take it. They did today. One less thing on my mind

made some progress on some junk that was being used as decorations around the well pipe. it was in the way when we had to have the well worked on a bit ago so i put all that stuff in some boxes and left it there so i could take it out in the trash some time. this morning was that time and it is now gone.
some of it was colorful (broken ceramic cups or dishes), but just a hazard and something i'm now glad to have it at the curb.

Been quiet on the overall checklist front. Lots of little things, crazy busy at work, the wedding trip to TN, not sleeping well (new sleep study scheduled), all just sucked my energy away.
Another friend doing the retirement thing, early 60s. Things I could do with 50 more hours of free time during the week

Hallway baseboard painted. Need to install a new bracket for the handrail. Everything taped up for the final bit of painting.

Finished painting the hallway. Switches swapped out. Going to let the paint dry overnight before taking up the tape. Then I can put up the tools and remaining supplies.
Two years of pecking away at the painting finally complete. Living room still full of boxes, we need to decide what we are going to do in the bathrooms.
