I spent some money today but I feel really good about it! I found a 5000W nearly new generator on Craigslist for $320. When I Googled it I found retail prices of anywhere from $550 - $970 for this generator. I had to drive about 1 1/2 hrs to get it but it was a great drive and I'm really happy to have the generator. I'm going to use it to run my pump to water my garden from the creek and also to run power tools as I do the interior construction on my rehabbed, non-electrified outbuilding that I'm turning into a poultry cop.
