Adventures of a Sufficient Self Suburbanite wanna-be.

I've seen those advertised B4, and am already planning on ordering them for the kids for Christmas. I already got them some banana split holder and regular ice cream dishes on clearance.

Those balls look fun, especially if there are younger kids around that need to be given a job. Did have to laugh a bit at the description about being great for camping though, as ice is needed. Possible sure, but would require a bit of planning ahead.

If you're at a campground, they normally do sell ice at the camp store. After all, if someone is relying on a cooler, they'll need to be able to buy ice for it.

Sigh....summer is close to being over, and it didn't go like planned (not sure why I haven't learned that lesson yet, it never goes as planned), I've started cutting back my "garden", at least that was fairly successful, and I did learn a lot. Sent my boss a text tonight suggesting that he close the shop I have been working at for the summer, it really seems like a waste of time, gas, and food to keep it open. Still would like to get out of the city, but until/unless that happens guess I will just keep on trying to learn/improve skills to get more self sufficient in my own small way.
On the sorta good side, I busted a molar 2 weeks ago and have lost about 10 lbs. since then. Wonder if I can find a way to market that as a diet plan?

Ouch!

It seems like each and every garden, you learn something new.

first thing you have to do is stop using the P word (plan)... it attracts too much attention. The term "estimated agenda" might work. lol

Sorry about losing your tooth. I lost about 10 lbs when my back went out... there seems to be a common thread here

Estimated agenda hmmmm...... That just might work, thanks. I suppose this summer is better than the engine fire we had in the van last summer, but still, it is getting tiring, summer is "supposed" to be enjoyable....

Last year - the first year I planted anything - I think we ended up with a total of about 5 tomatoes. This year, it looks like at least 50 tomatoes, plus carrots, onions, beets, lettuce, herbs, potatoes, and hopefully sweet potatoes. Not a bad learning curve eh? :celebrate
