6 to be exact.... and silkies..... but still chicks that will eventually lay eggs anyway!!!! Just had to share, we are excited!!!!!:ya

Silkies are great little birds. We had one that would run off our turkey's. She was real friendly with our son and would let him carry her around. Good layers too.

Silkies are so cute. I hear they make good mothers and are likely to go broody--getting a rooster too? You could wind up with more silkies--more is always better!! :lol:

Congratulations! I have 18 eggs due to hatch in my incubator on the 4th of March. I can't wait. Be sure you take lots of pictures. They grow so fast! You can't say I didn't warn you!
