I have been watching everyone sewing up a storm around here and have caught the bug. Put this together last night and today. I made a pattern of a panel apron project I had. Then modified it a bit. I actually cut two of different fabrics and stitched them like a pillow case. Much cleaner look. Makes is reversible as well. I added a bit of embroidery, for my sisters b day. some of the stitching is off but it was great for practice. I love the fabric. I picked it up last week. four different prints that all coordinate. Chickens, farm etc...

That sewing bug is contagious, isn't it? I really like that material, too. She should be very happy to get such a nice gift.

Thank you, I have a couple more cut out with different fabric combos. I'll post them when done.

That is really cute G! The stitching is so pretty, nice work :)

Someday I really need to make some time to learn how to sew, it just seems so hard to fit in everything I'd like to do!

I love aprons!
Now I've got the urge to make one!
I used to make them using bias tape for edges but your idea is so attractive. Making 2 sided is great because your only performing the work for one and that's efficient.

This apron is just so cute! The fabric is perfect for an apron.
And, the embroidery just makes the apron.

I need to get off the computer and sit down at the sewing machine.:)
