Any tv repair experts?

We just got a TV on freecycle. It's a 4 year old rear projection model and the sound works, but the video is out. John has been wanting one of these really really bad. It's not something we'd spend two thousand dollars for (the suggested retail price.) But it we could fix this one for ... oh, I dunno... five or six hundred dollars or less, it would still be a great find.

I don't suppose any of you is a tv repair person?

Me either, Pam! It stinks, don't it. LOL John is on the web looking for or reading the service manual for this monstrosity.

If nothing else, it will keep him occupied for the next few days.
