Only if I have a broody hen. I raised more pullets than I needed last spring, but did not cull any b/c they were all REAL NICE pullets. So... I wintered more birds than I wanted to. But, I sold 14 dozen eggs last week, so... I guess I can't complain. If I get a broody, I will have to sell some birds!

Hoping one of my hens will go broody again this spring. I'd like to try to get her to hatch out some of the blue and green eggs in hopes of adding a few more of those to the laying flock.
My blue layers are a cream legbar and a couple of EEs. But also have speckled Sussex, J giants in black and blue, rose-comb RIRs, a blue cochin, a couple of barnvelders, a couple of marans of various types, some turkins, a couple of exchequer leghorns, red-laced and silver-laced wynadottes and one lone australorp.
