Anyone else hear about Greensburg, Kansas?

A tornado destroyed the town in 2007. They decided to re-build using sustainable practices as much as possible. The best website I found, after a very brief search was Greensburg Green Town , but I'm sure there are some better articles out there.

I admire that they took the tragedy as an opportunity to do something bold. Kuddos to them.

the plant green channel has a show weekly about it.You can find it in the discovery channel listings. It's called simply enough "Greensburg" it is documentary type show that tells the weekly , ect goings on of the town and it's people. Hope this helps.

I read an article about them awhile back. VERY inspiring. They really thought the whole thing through and carried out an eco friendly plan.

i used to watch the show on the green channel but we dont get that one anymore. It was intetesting to see how some people do things differently.
