Wow! Thanks for the info, MFB! It sounds like you do it like I saw on the show. I think I would like them soft...old teeth, ya know. :D It sure would be neato if you could post pics or video of how you do this process...so educational for the rest of us. And we would get to see your lovely place again..so beautiful!

Thanks Bee. I think I will document it this time when I butcher this years hog. Maybe I can get Em to make a video with her phone and take lots of pictures too.

Please, please, please make a video of the hog butchering. Maybe you could burn it to a dvd? I'd even pay money for it!
