I just saw it on the shelf at the food co-op. I'm kind of curious if would help DS. He's active, but not ADHD, having some issues recently with being distracted in his crowded classroom. He's prone to the occasional meltdown at home lately. "Time to do your homework." "I hate my life!!!" His teacher admitted to me that she's had a rough couple of weeks and has been less patient with the whole class. I've used the adult stuff and found it helpful. I know what the pediatrician will say if I even ask...
Have any of you ever given it to a child? Thanks!

Haven't tried it, but if your kid has ADD, diet can help. Eliminate excess carbohydrates and make sure he is getting enough essential fatty acids to help the brain. Also his vitamin D levels should be checked.

He's not ADD, just getting unfocused in class because of all the distractions, stressed out teacher, etc. at school. Looking for natural ways to help him cope a little better. Working on the diet thing anyway. Baby steps. He's a finicky one!

I used this often for myself and for my son when he was having huge panic attacks. (about 7 or 8 years old) Yes, I would try it on him...better than chemical forms of it any day. It is actually the natural forms of many of the antianxiety drugs they have on the market today. Don't over use though, the stuff is potent...may be flower remedies but is one natural remedy that should be used carefully.

We use it for our dog dog during thunderstorms and snow sliding off the roof. I always figure if it works on an animal there isn't too much placebo effect!

It worked wonders for my cats while traveling cross country in the car. Avet recommended it when I requested kitty narcotics

There is no reason not to try it. I certainly would and maybe there is a flower remedy even more specific for him

I got the Rescue Remedy but haven't tried it yet. He's had an awesome couple of days since the long weekend and got two notes of praise for getting his work done today (with a sub there no less). They also have just the Clematis remedy for focus. That is included in the RR in addition to stuff for stress, etc. I can see how that could be handy to have too.
Then I went to Whole Foods and saw that they have the pet formula. No nervous dogs or cats at the moment but could have used that with my aussie :(
