Welcome Maggies Pop- not too far south of me. How full are the lakes?

Hi there!

We are right on Clear Lake. It wasn't as full as normal, but still people could get out and ski, jet ski, etc. I heard Mendo was really low, in fact I don't know if it even opened for boating this year. Pretty sad.

Where are you at ETR?

We've been low on rain too, relatively speaking. But it looks to be a rainy season for us so far.

I caught a beautiful 5 lb. 4 oz. bass out of Clear Lake once, in my belly boat. I have good memories of that area, even if we refer to it as "NotsoClear Lake" There was lots of algae where we went .

you aren''t that far away. I haven't been to Eureka in years.

yeah, Clear Lake has it's moments. Last year was nice. We would take our DD and play in the lake, it was clean. This year, no way. Algae so bad it stunk to even drive by the water. It was terrible.

Lots of CA people here! Too bad we are all spread out!
