Hi all,
Just thought I'd share the little visitor we had in our garden.
I currently live in town (we are building on 2 acres out of town ) so it is not often you see a koala wandering around.

Awwwwww......when we see a bear here in the States, we RUN!

Yeah, these guys aren't too scary. Mind you they don't take to kindly to being handled. This was just a little one, young and I'm guessing female. The older males get quite big.
They are cute though

How exciting! What do they eat?

The only eat eucalypt leaves from a specific type of gum tree.

They have been known to get 'drunk' and fall out of the trees.

They spend most of their time eating and sleeping.

They are uber-cute and they get drunk and fall out of trees? That is my kind of bear!

She is adorable!

Hey, did you see that photo shoot of the poor little koala bear in Australia drinking from a fire fighter's water bottle after it was rescued from a wild fire? Priceless!

They aren't really a "bear" or so I believe.

They're very cute, I had a stuffed one as a kid I loved it to pieces!
