Avalon1984-Chicken, horses, pigs, oh my!

Quick update from our side. As you can see, I am running late as usual

We got the exiting news today that our Shire mare is pregnant as well, so that is #3 on the way. My other Clyde mare will get rebred this weekend so that #4 soon will be on its way as well. :weee :ya

With the help of a friend I finally got the fence staining project started. I can only half start it because all bottom boards need to be replaced. 1x4's just aren't a match to draft horse noses going under the fence to fetch some grass :he

It's going on a 15hr work day now, me go to bed. Have a good night y'alls.

Night! Are the bottom boards oak? If so, they make great fire wood.

im going to need to send a REALY big box to get one of those babies home huh?! LOL.

I know your specialize in shires, but you woudlnt happen to know anyone in the buisness with gypsies that ARNT THOUSANDS of dollars...my dream horse has always been a drum horse (paint shire) but i could never afford to feed one lol, so fjords, dales and gypsy vanners all put themselves ontop of my list...and of course...not one is a breed you typicaly find on craigslist LOL.
im thinkingif i sell a kidney and a lunch and mabe part of my liver, i might be able to afford a pair of vanners LOL!

my granddad worked with shires for a big brewery in the UK when shires were still used to deliver the barrels...ive always loved the drafters, especially the personality fo the shires...you have noidea how envious i am of you! if i could comeand just spend an hour staring at your beautiful babies in person id be in horsey heaven!

i can only imagine how adorable baby shires cavorting round a feild merrily are...

I would LOVE a gypsy vanner. In fact if I ever win the lottery, that is at the top of my list. But man are they expencive!

i know right, i think there actually made of solid gold inside...
my cousin used to ride vanners, she had 5 at one point but there much more available in the UK...I keep thinking i should just make them send some over LOL. i cant even begin to imagine how expensive importing such a large animal would be...

2 of our 3 coming foals are going to be Drum Horses, so you get the gypsy markings, hair and attitude with a bit more height and power. The gypsy vanner we breed to is Astro Boy if you want to look him up.
