bad news after bad news

my dad committed suicide 2 years ago this month


last night i got a phone call my uncle committed suicide yesterday (dads brother)


read that it runs in families............offspring are 20% more likely to do the same

I am very sorry for your losses.

My dh Aunt took her own life. It was very sad and such a waste. She was a kind, loving, generous person.

20% more likely the children will though? How do they test for compatibility for suicide? runs in families? The choice is yours. You don't have to even put yourself in that statistic of will or will not, that's not exactly a healthy perspective or label to give yourself.
