I couldn't stand it, I planted 5 flats of seeds. I used the Jiffy peat pellets, just add water and they grow! Each flat holds 65 Jiffy pellets.

My LED grow lights were delivered last night at 7:48!! I looked on the computer, then walked to the front gate and got them. Today I'm going to be rigging up my greenhouse.

It is a high of 74F today, going to carry out my seedlings and set them in the sun in a little while. Going to a low of 35F tonight!

Yesterday, DH and I raised all the cow panel tomato trellis up to the top of the T-posts, which made them a foot off the ground. I need more cow panels....... I'm going to plant my snow peas and sugar snaps on the tomato trellis. B the time the tomatoes need the trellis, the peas will be gone.

I planted two bundles of yellow onion sets yesterday evening, still have a bundle of white onions and a bundle of red onions to plant.

I got my green house cover on. Sitting on the floor to wrap the bottom, I had Snoopervisors!

I have finally got started planting. I have planted Cherokee Purple and Mortgage Lifter tomatoes. I laid down cardboard, cut holes in it and planted the plants. Then I uses Marigold and my wagon to mulch over The cardboard.

I found a teensy-tiny baby rabbit. I stomped it, picked it up and called Parker. I commanded him, Alligator! And tossed it in the air. Snap! His big teeth snapped shut, gulp and it was gone. The Rabbit War has commenced.

I pulled a lot of weeds, cleaning up more areas to plant.

This morning I pulled turnips and rutabagas to roast for our supper tonight. I am simmering the mixed greens now. I also picked the last of the mustard greens and put a bag in the freezer.

I took some pics of the garden today. I have a few rows of Silver Queen sweet corn. This patch is composted with Sheep, chicken and horse manure, covered with cardboard and wood chip mulch. To the far left I just planted 6 zucchini and 15 cucumber plants.

These are Cherokee Purple tomatoes. I use 3 cow panels to make 2 rows. They also are composted and planted through cardboard and wood chip mulch.

The purple hull peas are a variety called Top Crop, they send up a stalk and make on the stalk. No more hunting for peas hiding on the ground.

we had a tomato with our supper tonight. I have to pick them when they first show a slight blush or the birds get them.

Picked the rest of the pea patch in the rain today while DH was inside shelling. It was mostly a drizzle, but a few times I had to run for the house to keep from getting drenched. I changed jeans twice and wore a thick hoodie to at least keep the top half of me dry. With what we shelled last night, we got 1 bushel and 2 1/2 pounds. We have the bushel sold, @Ridgerunner, i'll freeze the couple pounds we have extra.

The pea patch is picked clean, a few blooms are showing, the stems will bloom, make peas and we will be off and running again.

I took a shower and put on pajamas when I came in. I helped my husband finish shelling the peas. Now I have a leg of lamb in the oven and ………. PEAS simmering on the stove. I'll make a salad and for dessert, watermelon.
