I'm taking off to get my new bottle baby lamb. :celebrate (Just a tad bit excited!)

Help me think of some good ideas for names. My other sheep are named people names, "Dolly" and "Dorothy". His can't start with a "D"...otherwise I would have to change my ranch name "The Double D Ranch". ;) :gig Ahh, I crack myself up!!

I'm thinking "Oliver" for now, what do you think?

Adios and Vaya Con Dios!!!!! :frow I'm taking my camera, don't worry, I'll post pics ASAP!

I name my animals from movie/TV characters I like. Or famous people in general.

Roo: Bill (from True Blood)

Rabbits: Sookie, Tara, & Erik (True Blood)

Bonnie/Clyde: (duh)

Puppy: Emmett (Twilight)

New Buckling*soon*: Jasper (Twilight)

Yeah, I know, there's a theme there, :D

:yuckyuck :woot :bun :ya :weee

I name animals based on their personality, or they come to me with a name that fits, ie Shadow was my shadow when I went to check them out, Dixie & Lucky came with theirs.

I like Oliver, though :)

Youngest DD calls herself, "The Dali-Lamb." Since high school, she's been writing little lamb cartoon strips based on the Serta Counting Sheep, with #1, Dali-Lamb (of course) and there is something about #36, that escapes me right now...

Oh! Have fun!!!
Our puppy is Indiana Bones. (Sean Connery's line from the third Indiana Jones movie was "We named the dog Indiana!")
I'm stumped for goat names so I'm not much help. I do like Bam Bam. The sheep in my BYH avatar is named Adam.

Bon voyage, have fun! :)

Personally I think that it's usually best to get to know the animal a bit first, then the right name will come to you.

But if you just want clever, how about Ramses, Rambo, Ramirez, or Hiram (hi, ram!). Or Rama-lama-ding-dong? :p

(As you can see, my Lambert was actually *lucky* to be wethered, and Jose the ram should be thankful I decided to keep his official name, LOL)

Post pics ASAP,

Pat
