Yes:

Oxymels are herbal preparations that date back as far as the ancient Greeks. They are made by combining herbs with both honey and vinegar.

I wish I had some bee balm to gather for this. I think I'll shoot for some next year.
I like that site for herbal remedies. They have a free online herbalism course and the newsletters are pretty informative.
