Hope it's nothing serious. What happened? Hope you are feeling better fast.
No, no!!! I was merely pulling FCs leg! You know, if I have to deal with one more annoyingly ignorant person, I will slide down a bannister of razor blades.....? Then FC posted and I implied that I had had to take the bannister ride.........get it?dragonlaurel said:Hope it's nothing serious. What happened? Hope you are feeling better fast.

I might be misunderstanding, but be careful on the width. If you go too narrow (less than 1 3/8"), the bees will "bridge" all the comb together. If you go too wide between bars (more than 1 1/2"), then will probably just build multiple bars per comb and it gets difficult to inspect. Just a thought.Beekissed said:Was wondering what you all thought of using 2x2s for the top bars, for a wider comb base and more stability. The bars in the photos looked so small and flimsy on some of the TBH pics I saw on the BFBK site.

If they were, indeed, a ram and a ewe, wouldn't this be quite obvious?
She asked if the rooster gets to choose who roosts next to him. She asked if she could come over from where she lives 2 1/2 hours away when the sheep start lambing so she "could help" (she is a nurse). She asked what each color of hen was "for"......as if each color/breed was for a different purpose? Not sure what she meant about that one!
She asked why the hens were moving away from her when she tried to pet them.
the city slicker about country life. You should have told her:
