beekeeping veil

Hey I was just looking for some people input on what their favorite style beekeeping veil is. I never knew that some many styles where out there.

Do you like round or square? or built into a jacket, hood or helmet?

I have a clear view hat and veil. It is round and there is nothing to block my view in any direction. It is not attached to the jacket at all. I wear an inspector's jacket, not a full suit.

eta: the veil does zip to the jacket....

Is a full suit the best?? Most bee keepers tell me a veil is enough. Anyone make thier own suit??

My husband and I wear full suits. I prefer it, especially since I'm usually in shorts and a tank top when I'm out in the yard, definitely not enough protection. I will say that Greg usually goes into the hives fully suited, he'll hand me frames to inspect, and I won't have any suit or veil on, I have never been stung. But if I'm the one tearing into the hive I want protection - personal preference.
