I have been saving beer bottle caps for a while for a special project. (Not sure what yet.) Here are some ideas:

beer bottle boot scraper:

Make a 'doormat' out of bottle tops that will scrape off even the stubbornest mud and can be used outside your back door. Glue or nail the smooth side of bottle caps to a piece of plywood in several rows.

We've been saving all of our plastic bottle caps for a special project too, but not sure what.

I think it was in MEN magazine that I need the entire floor of a room done in bottle caps in a design, covered with clear epoxy.

That would have been awesome when I drank bottles. May just file this back for when I buy imports and such. Thanks for the ideas. :thumbsup

Drink more beer! :gig
That's such a good idea that I'm gettin one now :) I used to use some of the bottles as waterers just like the plastic jugs with the neck in the ground.

BBH, I remember seeing a yard that was "fenced" with a bottle cap chain when I was a kid! It was a low chain draped on short posts....I can't imagine how many bottle caps that took!

Kids are making them into refrigerator magnets, decorating the inside of the bottle cap and putting a magnet on the back. Necklaces, too. I'll see if I can find a link.

My BIL made a coffee table top with bottle caps and epoxy. It was pretty cool.
