I've read, recently, about the benefit of blackberry leaf tea for nausea, and i'm sure, a few other things.

When i look on the USDA site, dewberries are just varieties of blackberries.

Does anyone know any difference in any of the varieties that would make the dewberry leaves any less beneficial?

I want to pick the leaves now and dry them. I guess they would kind of be the beginning of my natural pharmacy that i dream about from time to time.
;)

As far as I know they are the same. Dewberries grow on vines and blackberries grow on canes. They both are in the same family.

I've used blackberry leaf tea for migraine before. Good stuff! I heard you have to dry the leaves first, or it will cause nausea.

good tip!

also, how did it help your migraine? as a pain reliever? as a blood thinner? i'm dying to know. that's great info.
