Ohhh! A Dutch oven eh?

Well the stew I made was positively excellent!

I do have a question for anyone. Kind of silly really..
I would like to keep the bones for broth, but I want to wait until I have all that I need. Could I just put them in a bag in the freezer and keep adding until I'm ready?
 
Yes you can. In fact when you're done, you can freeze them and boil them again for broth another time. :)
 
Yep, I do that with soup bones and it works fine. I keep two heavy duty gallon ziplocks in the freezer, one for chicken and one for beef.

BTW, when you use beef bones for broth, it helps to bake the bones first, makes it taste way yummier, coz you get that roasted flavor.

Ok, i know that at some point in time, we will have our goats and our sheeps, but really, all these pictures are making me want them NOW!! i'm starting to feel like Veruca Salts, and in my head i'm dressed in a dress with bows and ribbons in my hair and i'm jumping up and down throwing a raging fit because I don't have what I want NOW!! :rant :somad :somad
but then I realize i'm being an ass, even in my own head so then I :smack myself and then I go :hide somewhere deep in the recesses of my brain to :hit because I was acting like an ass and I :smack myself in my own head.

now ur pictures make me sad and make my brain hurt :P

p.s. thems some nice looking goats ya'll gots there aye yup!
