In 2011, over Christmas, we went to Kennedy Space Center. Loved it. Shuttle Atlantis was staged on the launch pad. It was awesome to see it just sitting there.

The various tours were awesome. The Saturn rocket display was magnificent.

I preferred Universal over Disney, to be honest.

Did xmas with DH's family. Anout 90 minute drive each way and we ended up needing to drive separately. I left first and there was patches of glare ice on the interstate. Last 1/3 of the drive was stressful! Some slipping/sliding but stayed on the road and didn't hit anything. DH went through a couple hours later and the road was free of ice.

On the way home, I drove over the overpass to get to the onramp, saw shine on the road and went "oh hay-ell no" and drove home on the backroads. DH took the interstate.

No worries here. The wife's family, though, have spent the past two days due to the ice. Glad we stayed home
