I tried playing McMurray hatchery You Tube videos with the sound turned up to my broody for about an hour the other day. She was annoyed that I was bugging her, and she's still on the nest. :/

Maybe I need to figure out how to put those videos (or some other chick sound) on a continuous loop and just leave it out there for a few hours.....

We locked my broody in a small run by herself with no nest-just food and water. It took a couple days, but she's broken now. She does seem to be low chicken on the totem pole now though.

I moved my broody to a room in the shop for a few days. She was pretty irritated and frantic the first couple days, then just flat hacked off at me. I left her there for another couple days just to make sure.
