The best Oyster Nola is at Broadway Oyster Bar, Saint Louis Mo. The place is a dive but man the food is totally delicious. As you can see it was totally packed yesterday. Some pictures to get a sense you the "environment".
Do they ever clean? Honestly... I think it would take weeks to clean such a place. It's the only place I know where you are encouraged to carve whatever into the wood furniture. I should have brought my woodworking chisels, but I just carved my name with my pocket knife instead. Open carry of my pistol strapped to my side, is no problem either. Missouri is way different than Illinois that's for sure.
