The yellow pear tomatoes have been going gangbusters for me too! I am adding that variety to the permanent list in my garden!

This is my first time growing them. What do you plan to do with yours? Are they good for canning or more of the type you would eat fresh? I'm hoping to can or freeze them because with as many as there are there's no way we'll be able to eat them all fresh.

My garden has actually become a place where my hens dust bathe. :hit The drought has just been so bad here in Texas. I was drooling over your pics. :drool Wow I am so envious. I had to keep our fruit trees watered so they would survive the summer and couldnt afford to water the garden too.

I'm sorry, I wish I could send some of our rain your way! I had some family up visiting from near Tucson, AZ over the 4th and we were talking about gardening. She said they would go broke trying to garden there because they would have to water so much. They were happy to be here for the 4th also because all the fireworks had been cancelled in their area due to the drought and fire hazard.

Normally we have enuf rain to float us threw. But we havent had rain in months. I have never seen it so bad.
Buttttt, we have a tropical storm coming in to the coast Friday. :fl so maybe some relief, just too late for summer garden. But im gonna start the fall garden seeds soon.

Your garden looks wonderful! Congrats!

I remember our first summer in Wisconsin when I was a kid... we were invited to a 4th of July pool party and were sooooo excited. We ended up wearing winter coats that day!
