Does anyone have a recipie for canning these two veggies together? I know how to do just potatoes or just green beans, but I would like a few mixed jars.

I would appreciate any ideas.

Just thinking about new potatoes makes me hungry right now.

I would think it would be the same, mixed or not. Just can the length of time required for the longest item. Like, if beans take 20 min and potatoes 30, be safe and can the mixture for 30 min. Sounds yummy!

That is what I would do also.

I can't add to the advice because I've never attempted that.
The potatoes and green bean combo is one of my favorites!
I add pinto beans to it, too.

According to "Putting Food By" you always set your time for the "longest" vegetable. We make veg soup this way. Just throw in everything, and can it for the longest time necessary for whatever is in there.

Thanks, everybody.

That's kind of what I figured, but I wanted to hear from the wise folk here first.
