I could not believe it when I went to Safeway yesterday they had moved everything around basically & had a shelf unit back by the dairy products with clearance items & I got 2 cases of jelly jars for $8.49 ea, regular lids $1.64, wide mouth rings w/lids for $4.49 & regular rings w/lids for $3.39! I got both cases of jars 7 boxes of regular lids & 1 ea of the rings!! Wish I had a little more money I would have bought almost all the lids at that price! Then after I got home I remembered I had a coupon for canning jars too. I am thinking i might take it in with my reciept & see if they will honor it. They did it once before so the worse they can tell me is no. Guess they are not going to carry canning supplies anymore. Still plan on getting more lids if they still have them next week after dh gets paid again.
