I've heard that feeding them flax seed will produce high omega 3 eggs.

Even just pasture leads to high omega-3 eggs. Ours were tested, were quite high in omega-3, and we don't feed flax

Someday ill get acres and acres of pasture for chickens *sigh* but I have to go through college first!
